System Paper Submission

LT4CPR Shared Task System Description Papers

Participating teams are invited to submit a system description paper documenting their approach to the LT4CPR Shared Task on Automatic Situation Report Generation. These papers are submitted through a dedicated shared-task OpenReview venue and are separate from the workshop's general research-paper submission process.

Paper Format

• Length: papers may include up to eight (8) pages of content, plus unlimited pages for limitations, references, and appendices.
• Style: use the official ACL style files and do not modify the required formatting.
• File format: submit the paper as a PDF through OpenReview.
• Anonymity: the review version should be anonymized for double-blind review. Do not include author names, affiliations, acknowledgements, or other identifying information in the review PDF.
• Accepted papers: accepted papers will be given one additional page of content to address reviewer comments.
• Prior publication: previously published papers cannot be accepted.
• Appendices: appendices should appear after the references. The main paper should remain self-contained.

What the System Paper Should Describe

The paper should provide enough detail for readers to understand how your submitted system was built and how it produced the official shared-task outputs. At minimum, please describe the following where applicable:

• the overall approach and system architecture;
• models, training procedures, prompts, retrieval components, and other major system components;
• task data and any external data or resources used;
• external APIs, pretrained models, retrieval sources, and manual interventions;
• experimental setup and results;
• error analysis or qualitative analysis of system behavior;
• limitations and known failure modes; and
• ethical considerations and responsible-use considerations relevant to crisis-related data and generated situation reports.

Submission Checklist

• Your team participated in the LT4CPR Shared Task.
• The paper describes the system associated with your shared-task participation.
• The review PDF is anonymized.
• The paper uses the official ACL style files.
• The paper contains no more than 8 pages of content; limitations, references, and appendices may use unlimited additional pages.
• The paper has not been previously published.
• References and any appendices follow the main paper.
• The paper documents external resources and manual interventions used by the system.
• The PDF is submitted to the dedicated LT4CPR Shared Task OpenReview venue before the deadline.

System description papers must be submitted through the dedicated LT4CPR Shared Task OpenReview portal. Please make sure you are using the shared-task system paper venue, not the general LT4CPR workshop paper venue.
